Geography and Climate

       Zhenjiang is situated in the southern part of Jiangsu Province, with Nanjing to the west, Shanghai to the east. Zhenjiang belongs to the monsoon climate region lf the northern   subtropical zone. The average temperature is 15.4˚ C. The sunshine hours of the year amounts to 2,057.2;the yearly non-frost period lasts for 238 days; the annual rainfall is 1,072.8 millimeters.
